How Can We Help?

A Centro System Manager for Crestron licence key is activated on one processor, tied to its MAC address and the program slot it’s loaded in. Only LCD support can move a key to a different processor or slot. You can’t remove a key from a processor yourself.

This is different from LCD’s Crestron Home drivers, where you deactivate the licence yourself. See Moving Licences for those.

Ask for a move

  1. Open the support form.
  2. For Category, pick I need to Transfer a Licence due to a changed crestron processor.
  3. Give the licence key, your order number and the current processor’s MAC address.
  4. In the description, give the new processor’s MAC address and the program slot Centro System Manager is loaded in, and say why it’s moving.

What happens next

  • We move the key and reply when it’s done. Add it on the new processor under Settings → Settings → Licence.
  • On the old processor, the key turns read-only for 30 days, then off, counted from the first time that processor learns of the move.

See Licensing and editions in the documentation for how licences work.
