GENERAL NOTES:
This module is setup using the LCD Clobal Cache Configurator where you can:
- Configure the connection details of the Global Cache
- Browse and test the IR code-sets available from the Global Cache online database
- Upload a custom code-set specific for your device or requirement
- Modify the IR codes to send for each of the device commands
- Add or update the Licence Key used for the module
This Module is compatible with 4 series SIMPL Windows projects (including VC4)
VENDOR SETUP:
1. Download and import the LCD.Module.GlobalCacheDisplay.zip into to your SIMPL windows
(Crestron specific instructions on how to import a user module: https://community.crestron.com/s/article/id-3358)
2. Connect the module signals as required in your project
(see module information below and the SIMPL Windows example project LCD.Example.GlobalCacheDisplay.smw)
(it is advisable to connect the module signal "LCD_Global_Cache_Configurator_URL" to a make string permenant symbol
for easy access to the URL later when you load the project)
3. Upload your project to your processor or VC4 room instance
4. Open the link provided by the module at "LCD_Global_Cache_Configurator_URL" in a web browser on the same network

5. Complete the Global Cache connection details and IR codeset command setup in the LCD Global Cache Configurator
note:
The LCD Clobal Cache Configurator discovers Global Cache IP2IR iTach devices installed on the same
local area network as the Crestron Processor.
If discovery is not possible then the IP Address and Port of the IP2IR can be entered manually.
