2N Native Lock Driver for Crestron Home
Bring your 2N intercom or access unit into Crestron Home as a true, native lock. The LCD 2N Native Lock Driver presents the door as a standard Crestron Home lock tile — with genuine state feedback, access events and built-in PIN user management — so homeowners control the door exactly as they control everything else in the home.
The driver operates the door strike through the 2N device’s switch (relay) output and reports live lock state directly from the device’s event log. Nothing is simulated: when the door unlocks — whether from the app, a quick action, or a PIN entered at the keypad — the tile reflects reality. Keypad entries are attributed to the matching user, so the event history shows who unlocked the door, not just that it happened.
PIN users are managed entirely from the Crestron Home app using the familiar lock user interface — no separate configuration on the 2N device. Add, edit and remove up to 1,000 users per device, each with an optional access schedule: always, temporary, weekly, or weekly within a fixed window. Weekly schedules are enforced on the 2N device itself as a rolling validity window, so access fails secure — if the processor goes offline, access expires rather than staying open.
Installers get proper diagnostics too: online, ready and error indicators surface connection health and device faults such as a door held open too long or an unauthorised opening.
Compatible with Crestron Home 4-series processors (including PC4-R and DIN-AP4-R) and the full 2N IP Intercom and Access Unit ranges — IP Verso, IP Solo, IP Style, IP One, IP Force, IP Base, IP Uni, Access Unit M and Access Unit 2.0.
