Crestron Home drives the devices it has drivers for — and nothing else. UI Dynamic is the fix.
Build your own tile of buttons and status controls in a browser, and make each one reach out to anything on the network: an HTTP call to a Shelly relay, a Hue bridge or any REST API; or a raw UDP/TCP command to a projector, matrix switcher or amp that only speaks its own socket protocol. A per-request delay turns a list into a
macro — unlock the gate, wait two seconds, turn the light on.
The bridge runs both ways. Every control has a webhook URL you can hand to Home Assistant, Node-RED or a doorbell — one call fires a Crestron Home event, and therefore a scene. Controls can read a device’s reply and show its real state, time themselves out with an on-tile countdown, or turn the whole room tile into a single button.
Everything is configured in a browser app served from the processor, with a test button that shows exactly what each request returned — proven before you leave site. No cloud account, no extra hardware.
